Following Thursday’s fatal crash on Oracle, another passenger tragically succumbed to injuries, according to TPD. 74-year-old Sharon Ann Green, critically injured in the collision at Oracle and Wetmore, passed away on Saturday, March 9.
Police reported that Green’s vehicle collided while making a left turn onto Wetmore Rd. The driver sustained life-threatening injuries, and a second passenger was unharmed, while the other driver was hospitalized as a precaution.
The multi-vehicle accident prompted the closure of North Oracle Road and West Wetmore Road for several hours. TPD states that impairment was not a factor, though the traffic signal sequence remains undetermined. The investigation is ongoing, with no charges or citations issued as of now.
