73-Year-Old Woman Rescued After A Fiery Rollover Crash In Muskegon County (Muskegon County, MI)

Michigan State Police Trooper responded to a fiery rollover crash that pinned a driver in Muskegon county. 

The crash happened on W. River Road east of Horton Road in Muskegon County just before 1 p.m. 

According to the police, a 73-year-old woman suffered a medical condition before the crash.

The vehicle overturned after going into a ditch and hitting a culvert, trapping the driver inside. 

When the first trooper saw flames from the SUV’s hood, she immediately tried to break the windshield with her hands, arms, and feet.

Good Samaritans, firefighters, and other first responders rescued the woman by pushing the vehicle upright to pull her. 

Her condition is expected to improve after she has been transported to a hospital.
