73-Year-Old Woman Hit In A Pedestrian Accident In San Diego (San Diego, CA)

The San Diego Police Department reported a hit-and-run accident on Monday. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of South 45th Street and Logan Avenue at 9:11 a.m. 

According to the officials, a driver was making a left turn from 45th Street when he hit a woman who was legally crossing the intersection.

The woman was reported to have a broken right femur and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed. 

The vehicle involved in the accident did not remain at the scene. 

The pedestrian accident is being investigated by the SDPD’s traffic division. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
