According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday in Lancaster. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the intersection of 10th Street West and Avenue L. A Jeep was going eastbound when it crashed into a Chevrolet sedan going southbound.
The passenger in the sedan was identified as 73-year-old Gloria Ann Connors. Connors was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the LACSD.
