The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Forsyth County on Wednesday.
The accident happened at the intersection of Castleberry Road and Bethelview Road.
Honda Accord and CR-V vehicles were damaged.
According to investigators, Bonnie Hammond, 73, turned left into Castleberry Road in her 2022 Honda CR-V as a 2006 Honda Accord was traveling north on Bethelview Road.
Hammond collided with the Honda Accord and died there.
Two passengers in the Honda Accord had minor injuries, according to deputies.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at the moment.
