The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported a multi-vehicle accident in northeastern Travis County. The two-vehicle crash occurred on Texas 130 around 2:11 p.m. near Manor, involving an 18-wheeler and a Honda.

According to Deon Cockrell, the DPS spokesman, a 72-year-old woman was driving south in the Honda when, for reasons unknown, she veered from the left side of the road into the median. Subsequently, she re-entered the southbound lanes and collided with a truck towing a trailer. As a result, the victim was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed at the moment.

The driver of the truck escaped injury. DPS continues its investigation into the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the collision. No other details are available as of now.
