71-Year-Old Larry Blash Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Macon (Macon, GA)

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle crash in Macon on Wednesday night.

According to the officials, the accident happened on Emerson Highway at around 9:30 p.m.

A 44-year-old man was driving a Chevy pickup truck westbound in the right lane on Emery Highway at Schaeffer Place when 71-year-old Larry Blash of Macon stepped into the road in front of the truck and was hit.

At the scene, Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley declared Blash dead. 

The collision didn’t cause any other injuries.

It has been reported to the next of kin.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
