A fatal accident occurred in Cleveland’s Kinsman neighborhood on Wednesday, claiming the life of a 71-year-old man. David Scott was struck by a car around 3 p.m. in the vicinity of E. 81st Street and Kinsman Road.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed Scott’s identity. Cleveland police stated that the accident remains under investigation, but the driver involved did stay at the scene. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the driver involved. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
