71-Year-Old Christian Moncrief Was Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX)

The Wichita Falls Police Department reported a motor vehicle accident on Saturday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as 71-year-old Christian Moncrief.

Around Saturday night the crash happened when the Nissan was at a red light facing west on Southwest Parkway at the intersection with Kemp Street. The light turned green, and the Nissan took off, travelling at a high rate of speed. 

The vehicle hit a curb and went airborne into the ditch. The vehicle’s speed caused it to travel into one of the drainage openings, causing extensive damage to the roof of the Nissan.

The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
