70-Year-Old Man Died In A Fatal Crash In Springfield (Springfield, TN)

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday near downtown Springfield. 

The officials stated that a 70-year-old man died and a 19-year-old was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The crash occurred on Memorial Boulevard near Driftwood Drive just before 1 p.m. 

According to the officials, a Springfield firefighter was also rushed to the local hospital due to heat exhaustion. 

The crash was responded by the THP along with Robertson County EMS, the Springfield Fire Department and the Springfield Police Department. 

The crash is currently being investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol. 

No additional information regarding the cause or the victims involved in the accident is available.
