The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday morning. The accident happened on FM 51 and SH-114. The collision involved only one vehicle.
A man allegedly missed a turn onto the SH-114 Access Road, crossed a T-Intersection, and collided with a utility pole.
Jan Morrow, a justice of the peace, declared him dead. The victim was identified as James Earl Willingham, 70 of Gainesville.
It is unknown what caused the crash. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. No other information is available currently.
