70-Year-Old Eduardo Santiago Killed In A Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash In Chelan County (Chelan County, WA)

According to the Washington State Patrol, a fatal crash was reported in Chelan County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the hit-and-run accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Stemilt Creek Road and Malaga-Alcoa Highway. The deceased person was identified as 70-year-old Eduardo Santiago.

A 2010 Honda sedan struck Santiago and fled the scene. Santiago was pronounced dead at the spot of the accident.

Insights pertaining to the cause of the collision remain unknown. The officials have not disclosed any information regarding the vehicle involved in the collision. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. 

The crash continues to be investigated by the WSP.
