7-Year-Old Girl Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident In Tyler (Tyler, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported a multi-vehicle accident in Tyler, Texas, on February 4. The crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. on State Highway 64.

According to the authorities, Sharya L. Snow, 18, of Tyler, driving a 2018 Kia Forte, attempted a left turn from the westbound lane but failed to yield the right of way to a 2014 Ram 35000 pickup truck traveling east. As a result, a 7-year-old girl in the Kia was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The driver sustained incapacitating injuries, while a 12-year-old boy in the Kia and the driver of the Ram also suffered non-incapacitating injuries, according to DPS reports.
