In a tragic incident on December 21, a fatal crash in Waco claimed the life of a 7-year-old passenger. The Waco Police Department reported that the incident occurred in the 3300 Block of W. Lake Shore Drive around 12:26 p.m.
According to authorities, a vehicle travelling east on W. Lake Shore Drive crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding with both a second and third vehicle. The young passenger, identified as a 7-year-old, was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash. The Waco Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle accident.
