Officials confirmed that a 69-year-old man died of injuries he suffered after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday in Reno.
The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place on State Street. According to the investigation reports, the elderly man was struck by a car on the sidewalk of State Street. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified.
On Tuesday night, authorities reported that the man succumbed to his injuries at 8:52 p.m. on March 12. It is unknown if the vehicle that hit the man stayed at the scene or not after the accident. No other details are immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
