69-Year-Old David Vance Selix Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

Tucson police are actively seeking the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of a 69-year-old pedestrian, David Vance Selix, early Sunday morning. The tragic incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. as Selix was crossing East 22nd Street at South Second Avenue.

According to Tucson police, Selix was struck by a silver sedan traveling east, which fled the scene after the collision. Selix was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The news release stated that Selix was either within or very close to an unmarked crosswalk when the incident occurred.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the driver or the silver sedan to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
