68-year-old Ray F Reece dead after a single-vehicle crash in Cobb County (Powder Springs, GA)

Authorities identified 68-year-old Ray F Reece as the man who lost his life following a crash in Powder Springs.

As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle wreck took place sometime between 9 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Mayes Road. The early reports showed that Ray F Reece was operating his Ford 540B industrial tractor at his home when, for unknown reasons, it slid on loose soil while going up a slope.

The tractor then flipped over on its left side, with Reece directly under it. According to the officials, a family member found Reece dead. No additional information has been provided.

An investigation is ongoing.
