According to the Los Angeles Police Department, 68-year-old Marcos Ordonez was killed in a pedestrian accident that took place in North Hollywood on Thursday.
Roughly at 1:05 p.m., a white sedan was traveling north on Vineland Avenue, north of Vanowen Street. It struck Marcos Ordonez, who was attempting to cross the road. Ordonez was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is not other details available about the driver of the vehicle invovled. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
