68-Year-Old Gregory Charles Salyer Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Kern County (Kern County, CA)

The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday. The accident happened on Airport Drive. The collision involved a motorcyclist.

According to authorities, Gregory Charles Salyer, 68, of Bakersfield was operating a motorbike when it collided with another car that had run a red light on State Road and Airport Drive.

After being transported to Kern Medical, Salyer was later declared dead. The motorist stayed put and assisted with the investigation.

It is unsure what caused the crash. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. The fatal crash is still being investigated by the officials. Additional information regarding the crash is not available currently.
