According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Van Zandt County on Sunday.
The crash happened on SH 64.
According to the investigators, a 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 1992 Oldsmobile 88 were involved in the collision.
The driver of the Oldsmobile made an unsafe U-turn and was struck by a motorcycle on the passenger side.
A 67-year-old Raquel Rodriquez was identified as the motorcyclist who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
