The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday.
A 1991 Cub Cadet Truck tractor traveling eastbound on FM 297, about two miles north of Cactus, was pulling a semi-trailer.
In the opposite direction, a 2019 Western Star Truck tractor pulling a semi-trailer.
Emilio Valencia, 64, of Etter drove the first car and disregarded the stop sign at the intersection of FM 297 and US 287, which caused the Cub Cadet Truck tractor to collide with the second car.
The Western Star Truck tractor and its trailer rolled over.
Kevin Potter, 67, of Dumas, the driver of the second semi, was taken to Moore County Hospital, where he later passed away later.
Valencia was transported to Moore County Hospital with minor injuries.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
