On Monday evening, 67-year-old Kathleen Filer and three others, including two minors, suffered injuries following a three-vehicle accident on I-5 north.
As per the initial information, the incident took place on northbound exit 27 on Interstate 5 towards Todd Road and the Port of Kalama. The preliminary investigation showed that a 41-year-old Longview man crashed their vehicle into a Hyundai Palisade driven by Stacia Aschoff on the off ramp. Afterwards, the man’s vehicle struck a Pontiac G5 carrying two minors after reaching Todd Road.
The Pontiac G5 was reportedly wrecked as a result of the collision. On arrival, emergency crews transported the two minors, the Longview man and his passenger, Kathleen Filer, of Longview to regional hospitals with unknown injuries. All of the people who got hit were from Kalama. At this time, it is unknown if Stacia Aschoff received any injuries or not. No charges have been filed at this time.
The crash remains under review.
