The authorities reported a pedestrian accident in Huntington Beach that killed a 67-year-old who later was identified as Johnny Lee Davis.
At around 10:00 p.m., a 2021 Tesla Model Y traveling on Beach Boulevard, at Williams Drive, struck Davis, who was crossing the road. Davis was fatally injured and was declared dead at the scene.
The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the driver of the vehicle involved. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
