The victim killed in a motor vehicle crash in Lemon Grove on Monday has since been identified as 67-year-old Harold Hooker. The accident involved a single vehicle.
On Monday at around 5:30 p.m., Harold Hooker was driving his minivan south in the 1600 block of Lemon Grove Avenue when he crashed into concrete debris. This caused the vehicle to swerve off the road and end up in an embankment. Harold Hooker was fatally injured and was pronounced dead.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
