66-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In San Marcos (San Marcos, CA)

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office reported a pedestrian accident that claimed the life of a 66-year-old woman in San Marcos on Thursday.

At around 7:43 p.m., a gray Toyota Tacoma traveling west on the 1100 block of West Mission Road struck a woman who was walking on the Palomar Sprinter Station. The woman was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
