Authorities identified 66-year-old Terry Smith, from Big Spring, as the man who lost his life following a single-vehicle wreck in Glasscock County.
As per the initial information, the fatal semi-truck crash took place on State Highway 158. The preliminary reports showed that a semi was heading west on SH 158 when its front left tire had a blowout which caused the truck to swerve across the eastbound lanes of SH 158.
The semi continued traveling south off the roadway before flipping over into a field. Terry Smith was declared dead at the scene by the responding officers. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
