According to the California Highway Patrol, a 66-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a motor vehicle crash in Lake Elsinore on Monday. The accident occurred roughly at 11:15 a.m., west of Grand Avenue, Ortega Highway (78).
According to the officials, a single motorcycle was involved in the collision. The driver of the motorcycle lost control of the vehicle and ran into a two-lane highway. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
