According to Harrison County authorities, a multi-vehicle crash took place on Friday and killed 1 man.
The victim, identified as Larry E. Richardson, was operating a 2017 Ford F-150 in the vicinity of Marshall at approximately 7:40 p.m. when the accident took place. He had reportedly come to a stop on FM 2625 at the FM 31 intersection but failed to yield to an approaching vehicle.
Another driver in a 2009 International Box Truck was traveling northbound on FM 31 when Richardson’s truck collided with his.
First responders rushed Richardson to Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview, where he succumbed to his injuries at 5 a.m. on Saturday. Both individuals were wearing seatbelts at the time of the collision.
