The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash that killed a 66-year-old who has been identified as Delores Natalia.
According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the collision. Natalia was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound on Rawhide Road north of Rimrock Road. She lost control of the vehicle, swerved off the road and the vehicle flipped over. Natalia was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
