65-Year-Old Woman killed in a rollover crash on Highway 14 (Camas, WA)

A single-vehicle rollover accident on state Highway 14 brought about the demise of a 65-year-old Camas woman on Friday afternoon.

According to a Washington State Patrol crash memo, the victim’s name is Mary A. Levey. The memo said firefighters and law enforcement were sent at around 12:30 pm to Milepost 12.

Levey was westbound on the highway when she went towards the right shoulder of the highway, overcompensated and crossed the lanes.

According to State Trooper Will Finn, Levey crashed into a jersey wall and flipped over her SUV several times. Westbound lands remained shut down for almost 3.5 hours.

Authorities urged drivers to adopt alternate routes, triggering massive traffic congestion. Investigators inspected the crash scene while a probe is ongoing.
