According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday in San Gabriel. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near San Gabriel Boulevard. A head-on collision occurred with a driver coming from the wrong-side. As a result of this, the 65-year-old was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Other details pertaining to the accident are pending determination. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
