65-year-old man dead after a single-car crash on I-15 north of Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV)

On Wednesday, a 65-year-old man, from Wisconsin, lost his life following a single-vehicle accident in Las Vegas.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place before 5 p.m. on I-15 northbound near mile marker 46. The preliminary investigation showed that a blue 2022 Dodge Charger went off the roadway, entered the dirt center median, hit the center median cable barrier, and came to a stop a short distance from the initial impact.

The car was occupied by a male driver and a female passenger. According to the eyewitnesses, the driver might have experienced a medical emergency. The driver, described as a 65-year-old man was declared dead at UMC Trauma, whereas the female passenger remained unharmed in the accident. There were lane restrictions in place, and motorists were asked to use caution in the area. No other details are available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
