The Washington State Patrol reported a fatal head-on crash on Sunday in Renton. The accident occurred on State Route 167 at Talbot Street.
According to the officials, a car was headed north on State Route 167 when it crashed into a car headed south on the route. The first car crashed into the second car head-on.
The driver of one of the vehicles, identified only as a 63-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, identified as a 35-year-old person from Tacoma, was injured and taken to Harbourview for treatment. The identities of the victims are not yet known at this time.
The officials have reported that the 35-year-old will be arrested and charged with vehicular homicide. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. There are no other details available.
