62-Year-Old Meochor Mebdoza Was Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident in Clovis (Clovis, CA)

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the man who was killed by a Clovis Fire Department Vehicle in a motor vehicle accident on July 4th at Clovis Avenue and Barstow Avenue.

The victim was identified to be 62-year-old Melchor Mendoza. He was hit by a fire department truck driven by a fire department supervisor while walking across the road. Mendoza was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene said the officers. 

It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. There are no other details available at this time.
