According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle crash in Ramona resulted in the death of a 62-year-old motorcyclist on Saturday. The accident occurred on Highland Valley Road, east of Bandy Canyon Road.
At around 11:35 a.m., a 62-year-old man driving a 2017 Yamaha FZ09 motorcycle, collided with a 2019 Toyota Camry driven by a 20-year-old. The motorcyclist was fatally injured adn was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
