According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Mojave claimed the life of a 61-year-old woman on Wednesday.
Approximately at 10:58 a.m., a 2005 Chevrolet 3500 that was traveling westbound and a 2015 Chrysler that was traveling northbound were involved in a collision on Highway 14. A 61-year-old woman who was driving a 2015 Chrysler was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
