In a tragic motor vehicle accident on the Artesia (91) Freeway, a 61-year-old man, identified as Miguel Gonzalez, lost his life in a fatal crash. 

The fatal collision occurred around 5:55 a.m. on Tuesday in the Bellflower area, specifically on the eastbound 91 Freeway near Clark Avenue. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. 

The California Highway Patrol swiftly responded, closing the HOV lane and several others to facilitate the investigation.

Gonzalez was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials have not confirmed if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
