61-Year-Old Martin Hawkins Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Glendale (Glendale, AZ)

A tragic hit-and-run crash in Glendale last week has resulted in the death of the motorcyclist involved, identified as 61-year-old Martin Hawkins. The victim’s wife, Caserina Hawkins, confirmed this heartbreaking news to Arizona’s Family on Monday.

The incident occurred when Martin was riding his motorcycle north on 67th Avenue and was struck by a woman in a car who pulled out in front of him near Mountain View Road, just north of Olive Avenue.

Martin suffered multiple fractures from head to toe and was transported to the hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Although the woman initially fled the scene, police were able to track her down and take her to the hospital. It remains unclear if she is still hospitalized or if any charges are pending.
