The victim of the motor vehicle that took place in Lake Elsinore on Monday was identified as 61-year-old Maria Sanchez Jimenez. According to the officials, a single vehicle was involved in the crash.
Roughly at 9:43 a.m., Maria Sanchez Jimenez was driving her sedan on northbound I-5, north of Nichols Road, when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then swerved off the road, leading it to topple down.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
