According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Lemon Grove. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the hit-and-run accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred near the intersection of Broadway and Harris Street.
Lisa Afton Anderson was in a heated argument with a homeless person when she was struck by a Ford F-150. Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
Other insights pertaining to the collision are yet to be determined. It is not yet known if the homeless person was injured nor were they identified.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. There are no other details available at this time.
