60-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)

A tragic hit-and-run accident near the Leimert Park neighborhood claimed the life of a 60-year-old woman, and police are currently investigating the incident. The collision occurred at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and Homeland Drive, according to a spokesman from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

LAPD officers responded to the scene where they discovered the victim lying in the street. Witnesses reported that a vehicle traveling southbound on Crenshaw Boulevard struck the pedestrian and fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

Regrettably, the victim was pronounced dead in the fatal crash. LAPD’s South Traffic Division is now investigating this hit-and-run tragedy, urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
