22-year-old Timothy P. Leslie lost his life a day after a fatal Friday crash in Union Gap, authorities told.
Angel H. Caoile, 22, of Yakima, and Timothy P. Leslie, 60, of Zillah, were going southbound on Main Street shortly before 11 a.m. near the intersection with U.S. Highway 97. Meantime, Caoile tried to make a U-turn and Leslie’s Subaru Outback collided with Caoile’s Jeep Compass, as per WSP.
Fortunately, both drivers were fastening their seat belts. However, the crash wrecked both vehicles, the State Patrol said in a Sunday news release. Afterwards, medics rushed both drivers to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, where Leslie succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. Conversely, medical staff gave medical treatment and discharged Caoile, according to a nursing supervisor.
Additionally, authorities said that Drugs or alcohol sis not play a factor, according to the State Patrol. However the crash still remains under probe.
