Louisiana State Police Troop F is investigating a one-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 165 south of LA Hwy 843. The crash happened on Wednesday, November 2, after 12:00 p.m.
The victim was identified as 60-year-old Bobby J Grant.
A preliminary investigation reports that Grant drove a 1994 Chevrolet S-10 on U.S Hwy 165 when it traveled off the roadway and hit a tree for unknown reasons.
Grant suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene.
A routine toxicology sample was obtained and sent for analysis.
An investigation into the crash is under review.
