According to the Corona Police Department, a 6-year-old boy was killed in a pedestrian accident in Corona on Wednesday.
Duner Larson was struck by a vehicle on Sallie Jeffreys Way, North of Golden Harvest Drive. The events leading up to the collision are not yet clear at this time.
Duner was transported to Corona Regional Medical Center where was pronounced dead. The identity of the vehicle that struck the boy is unknown at this time. The officials have released no details regarding the driver of the vehicle involved.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
