According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday night in Oildale. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the pedestrian accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on James Road.
A woman was walking in the traffic lanes westbound when she was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
