59-Year-Old George Robinson Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Tangipahoa Parish (Tangipahoa Parish, LA)

Louisiana State Police are probing a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on Tuesday night, claiming the life of 59-year-old George Robinson from Loranger. The incident unfolded around 10 p.m. on Highway 40 near Deerfield Loop in Tangipahoa Parish.

Robinson was driving northbound in a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder when the vehicle veered off the roadway and overturned. Tragically, Robinson, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene.

Two passengers in the Nissan sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. While one passenger was properly restrained, the reasons behind the crash are still under investigation.

Authorities obtained a toxicology sample from Robinson for analysis. The investigation into this tragic incident remains ongoing.
