On Wednesday, 59-year-old Edem Attih, of Brentwood, was killed following a two-vehicle accident on I-65 in Williamson County.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place a little after midnight in the northbound lanes of I-65 ahead of the Moores Lane exit near mile marker 69. The preliminary investigation indicated that a 2005 Nissan Murano had broken down in lanes of traffic on I-65 with no light indicators on.
Just then, a semi-truck going on I-65 hit the back of the Nissan Murano. 59-year-old Edem Attih, the driver of the car, died as a result of the collision. The northbound lanes of I-65 are back open after being shut down for about four hours early Wednesday morning. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under investigation.
