58-year-old Kirk Allen seriously injured after a hit-and-run crash on I-75 (Cobb County, GA)

On Saturday, 58-year-old Kirk Allen, from Kennesaw, suffered serious injuries after getting struck by a vehicle while he walked across an Interstate 75 entrance ramp.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at around 6:49 p.m. near the Interstate 75 northbound on-ramp at Barrett Parkway. The early reports showed that a vehicle was turning left onto Interstate 75 north when it hit Kirk Allen for undetermined reasons.

The vehicle failed to stop and continued north on Interstate 75. On arrival, medics rushed the man to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. His current condition is unknown at this time. No further details were provided.

The incident remains under active review.
