58-Year-Old Jason Keith Richardson Killed In A Motor Vehicle Accident In Pecos County (Pecos County, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday. The accident occurred on FM 1776 and the authorities have confirmed that one person died. The deceased victim has been identified as 58-year-old Jason Keith Richardson. 

Around 7 p.m. the crash happened when Richardson of Alpine was traveling southbound on FM 1776 at an unsafe speed. He failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway. 

Richardson veered off the highway into the east-barrow ditch. Richardson then overcorrected, causing his vehicle to roll over. Later he was pronounced dead. 

The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It remains uncertain whether alcohol or drugs were contributing factors in the collision.
