According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported in Macon.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Hawkinsville Road at its intersection with Cochran Field Road.
A car tried to cross over and crashed into another car headed south.
As a result of this, both the cars rolled over and landed in the median.
The drivers of both the cars were pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
The victims were identified as 57-year-old Tommy Keith Smith and 20-year-old William Noah Jones.
No further details pertaining to the crash are available at present.
The crash is being investigated by Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
